Some of you might be thinking, who or what is Shepard Fairey? He is an American contemporary graphic designer and illustrator who became popular for his obey giant prints. These prints started on stickers and then extended unto t-shirts, posters, and other merchandise. Other popular Shepard Fairey prints include the “Hope” campaign of then-presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Shepard Fairey art can be seen in many popular museums all over the world such as the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, The Smithsonian, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

He started by putting his drawings on skateboard and t-shirts, prompting his reputation as a street artist. Fairey currently has hundreds of artworks most of which can be easily bought as prints online. These contemporary prints can cost anywhere from $100 to $9000.
